This Rochom P’ngieng, Cambodian woman who spent 18 years living in the woods after missing as a child, has struggled to be at one with life in the village. But now he wants to return to the wild life.

P’ngieng dubbed “jungle woman” when he appeared in February 2007, up to now can not speak and refused to get dressed.

His father said P’ngieng been taken to hospital after refusing food for a month. That really matter, her daughter kept trying to get back into the woods.

“His condition seemed wage labor than when we first brought from the woods. He always wanted to take off their clothes and move into the woods,” said Sal Lou, father of the woman, quoted from the Telegraph, Saturday (31/10/2009).

“He refused to eat rice for a month. He is now thin. Still not able to speak. He was acting like a monkey. Last night, he took off his clothes and hid in the bathroom.”

Rochom P’ngieng disappeared in 1989 when he was eight when herding buffalo in the water Ratanakkiri province bordering Vietnam, northeast of the capital Phnom Penh.

Her parents had given up hope his daughter would recover. But in 2007, emerged from the woods P’ngieng in naked and dirty conditions. He sat hunched like a monkey and was arrested for trying to steal on a farm.

When he was looking for food in the forest and can only say the words that can not be understood. Sal Lou described P’ngieng issued sound like a beast.
