Police Tokyo, Japan, began operations arrest offenders against women that often occur in commuter trains. Undercover police personnel are deployed in a number of trains full of passengers.
Under the guise of distributing leaflets, they aim to catch a group of abusers. The operation will last for one week.
As quoted from the BBC page, Monday, September 14, 2009, offenders can be jailed up to seven years in Japan. Police revealed that abusers use the Internet to coordinate their activities, and also form a kind of association.
